The project developed over approximately one month following recommendations from David Sacks, a Trump administration official responsible for technology policy.
Political bias manifests clearly throughout Grokipedia’s content, especially in articles about controversial events. The platform’s January 6 entry incorporates discredited election fraud narratives while downplaying Trump’s well-documented incitement. The encyclopedia employs framing that presents violent insurrection as potentially justified political expression rather than criminal activity threatening democratic processes.
